About the Center for AI Behavioral Standards

CAIBS exists to establish the infrastructure layer for AI certification. As artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded in every industry, the need for independent, rigorous behavioral standards has never been greater. We provide the framework, evaluation methodology, and certification marks that enable organizations to demonstrate their commitment to responsible AI.

Like UL for electrical safety, ISO for quality management, and SOC 2 for data security, CAIBS is building the definitive standard for AI behavioral accountability. Our certification signals to customers, partners, regulators, and investors that an AI system has been independently evaluated and meets established behavioral standards.

CAIBS is a program sponsored by the Disabled Veterans Whole Health Association (DVWHA), a 501(c)(4) membership association, and operated by Weerussh LLC. Our team brings together expertise in AI ethics, behavioral science, regulatory compliance, and standards development to create a certification framework that is both rigorous and practical.

Our proprietary Behavioral Impact & Trust (B.I.T.) Framework™ evaluates AI systems across five critical behavioral dimensions:

Each dimension is scored on a scale of 0–5, yielding a total score of 0–25 that determines the certification tier (CAIBS-1 through CAIBS-5).
