Trademark Policy

1. Purpose

This Trademark Policy governs the use of all trademarks, service marks, certification marks, logos, and trade dress owned by the Center for AI Behavioral Standards ("CAIBS"), the Disabled Veterans Whole Health Association ("DVWHA"), and Weerussh LLC. The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity and value of our marks while providing clear guidelines for authorized use.

2. CAIBS Marks

The following are trademarks of the Organization and are subject to this policy:

3. Authorized Use of Certification Marks

Entities that hold an active CAIBS certification may use their assigned certification badge subject to the following conditions:

  • The badge must be displayed in its original, unmodified form as provided by CAIBS
  • The badge must include the appropriate tier designation (CAIBS-1 through CAIBS-5)
  • The badge may only be displayed during the active certification period
  • The badge must not be displayed in a manner that implies a higher certification tier than awarded
  • The badge must be accompanied by or linked to the verification URL provided by CAIBS
  • The badge must not be used in any misleading, deceptive, or disparaging manner

4. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of CAIBS marks are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization:

  • Using any CAIBS mark as part of your own product name, service name, or company name
  • Modifying, distorting, or altering any CAIBS mark in any way
  • Using CAIBS marks in a manner that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation where none exists
  • Displaying expired or revoked certification badges
  • Creating confusingly similar marks, logos, or badges
  • Using CAIBS marks on merchandise without a licensing agreement
  • Registering domain names that contain CAIBS marks or confusingly similar variations

5. Badge Display Guidelines

When displaying CAIBS certification badges, certified entities must adhere to the following specifications:

  • Minimum size: 80px × 80px for digital display; 1 inch × 1 inch for print
  • Clear space: Maintain a minimum clear space equal to 25% of the badge width on all sides
  • Background: Display on a solid or neutral background that does not interfere with badge legibility
  • Color: Use only the official badge colors as provided; do not apply color filters or overlays
  • Resolution: Use only official high-resolution badge files provided by CAIBS

6. Enforcement

CAIBS actively monitors and enforces its trademark rights. Unauthorized use of CAIBS marks may result in:

  • Cease and desist notices
  • Revocation of certification and badge license
  • Removal from the CAIBS Certified Directory
  • Legal action for trademark infringement, including claims for damages and injunctive relief
  • Reporting to relevant regulatory authorities

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any unauthorized use of CAIBS marks, please report it to:
